SCAM - NOVEMBER 7, 2008
We have received reports of a few customers receiving phone calls that their debit cards have been compromised. The phone caller states that the customer’s debit card “has been activated by a Third Party”. Then the caller proceeds to ask the customer for their card information. This is a scam. Neither the Bank nor Card Company will EVER ask for a card number. PLEASE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION!
